Thank you for your interest in First Choice Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning in the South Bay. During these uncertain times, we understand that many of our customers have questions about our services and the steps we are taking to ensure their safety and that of our technicians.
To ensure the safety of our customers and that of our employees, our technicians are fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine. Masks will be worn while in the home or business upon request.
In addition to the regular detergent and agitation cleaning process we use for carpet and upholstery cleaning, we will also be using an all-natural botanical product that “may help” rid the virus. The Sol-U-Guard Botanical 2x formula is the first EPA-registered disinfectant to combine thymol and citric acid as active ingredients. Together these proven botanical disinfectants kill over 99.9%* of common household germs on hard, nonporous surfaces.
We are actively monitoring communications from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), the World Health Organization (“WHO”), and federal agencies to ensure we are operating consistent with the latest guidance to contain the spread of SARS-CoV-2, the cause of COVID-19.
According to the CDC, cleaning is the necessary first step of any disinfection process. Cleaning removes organic matter, salts, and visible soils, all of which interfere with microbial inactivation. The physical action of scrubbing with detergents and rinsing with water removes substantial numbers of microorganisms. If a surface is not cleaned first, the success of the disinfection process can be compromised. For more information about the critical importance of cleaning, we encourage you to visit the CDC for more information on how to Protect Your Home.
Please Note:
Disinfect, Disinfection, Disinfectant(s) and Disinfecting refers to using botanical products to kill germs. This process does not ensure the removal of the coronavirus (COVID-19), but by killing germs associated with bacteria, virus, and fungi can further lower the risk of spreading infection.
